I like how narrow the spacing is with the rear bushings, in the right chassis could fit some REALLY wide meats!
That chassis is intriguing.
Looks like several separate parts almost "woven" together.
Aluminum set screw no-hub wheels, nice but not a new idea.
Is Delrin a new material for front wheels?
The adjustability of thing looks off the charts really.
Stock with spring suspension, very nice.
If this thing runs well and is reasonably priced, it will sell very well.
If the chassis is as good as they hope all they need is adjustable wheelbase for scratchbuilders.
I codes end black them well and hope to be able to get my hands on one.
No news on when available though?

PaulFunny, Paul likes the idea of narrow bushing mounts, but when Ninco came out with a similar setup in their motor pods, quite a few people not Paul thought it was bad idea, not stable or something.

I too like the look of this unit, curious about the beveled https://separateschooleducation.info/black/codes-black-and-white-2.html setup also.
From the pics it's a no mag chassis as I see no mag pockets.
Unfortunately, as Ottawaslotter points out above, their intention is only to sell directly from the factory; and they're not one of our Advertisers, so I'm not too certain how successful their marketing will be.
Looks like an interesting product, though!
It does sound interesting.
The 28K motor assures that you will be spending even more to get it comparable to other cars in the class from other manufacturers if you're racing with others.
The gearing means you will be stocking all new pinions and crowns as well.
If I have to buy from Spain that might just kill it altogether.
Now if it was sold here one would make its way to the garage if only out of curiosity.
Other than that it does sound interesting.
Some very interesting principles here.
The bevel gears and the highly complex crown being of note.
Someone once spoke about black arrow slot cars "perfect solution to a non-existent problem": wms winning bid slot machine 10 piece!
Reminds me of the old adage: if it ain't broke don't fix it: what's wrong wrong with a straightforward Slot.
Funny, Paul likes the idea of narrow bushing mounts, but when Ninco came out with a similar setup in their motor pods, quite a few people not Paul thought it was bad idea, not stable or something.
That would have been me: I started on the topic at the time.
Hope they prove me wrong: some very interesting concepts otherwise and a brave new venture that must be applauded.
Actually, what Black Arrow have done is come up with a rather elegant solution to a major problem for competition slotters, at least which hasn't been regularly broached.
ScaleAuto attempted to solve this issue by making the crown and contrate separate components, but this led to crown gears that are more easily molded out of round OR leads to crowns that eat their set screws even quicker.
The Black Arrow crown can be shimmed closer or further from the contrate, giving optimum mesh while keeping the crown gear concentric and giving sufficient material for the set screws to put their stresses through.
Honestly, this is another positive sign that the industry at least on the competition side is moving forward with legitimacy and creativity.
Long live racing and competition improves the breed.
Looking forward for the gears and pinions.
I never understood how an slot car engineer would approve fixed pitch gears to be used with variable pitch pinions.
I'm intrigued by the pod design, which appears to extend to the guide flag encompassing the front axle bushings as a continuous unit.

In principle this certainly seems to be the case.
Some further thoughts: 1.
For my use I have found that good quality "solid" crown gears like Slot.
I would be surprised if this does not hold true for many in the hobby.
I would like to see how this pans out in practice: I fear that the complexity of an assembly like this and the limitations of a VERY!
Agreed that for instance MB Slot's efforts with 2 part gears where each part is held in place by set screws onto the axle was ill considered.
Any minimal movement of either of the two parts immediately messed up the mesh.
The fact that the two parts here screw together is a much better solution in that respect.
I am not sure I see anything in the design that would necessarily result in more concentric gears on the crown.
I suspect that for the black arrow slot cars or even better than average racer, this part will end up being a source of more hassles than it is worth.
Please believe me: I am not a Luddite that is dead set against progress and change.
I am just wary of complexity black arrow slot cars can cause more problems than it solves.
I never understood how an slot source engineer would approve fixed pitch gears to be used with variable pitch pinionsI must have missed that: where do they say they keep constant pinion pitch for different of teeth?
The adjustable spacing on the crown would certainly allow that: I just did not read anywhere that this is what they will be doing.
